Heritage Family Law, a law firm specializing in family law matters, is pleased to announce the opening of its newest office in Longview, Washington.

The new Washington office opens with a team of four highly experienced attorneys and professional staff with over 60 years of combined legal experience.

Managing Partner/Principal, Glenn Slate leads the Vancouver, Washington office. Mr. Slate has over 20 years of experience in the field of family law. The opening of the Longview, Washington office of Heritage Family Law is an additional milestone in the Firm’s growth, following the opening of our Vancouver, Washington office in 2017.

We’re pleased to expand our presence in Clark and Cowlitz Counties and are confident our newest family law attorney, Christine Dow, will significantly enhance our Pacific Northwest team. Christine is not only an excellent attorney with a wealth of real-life experience, but she also complements our current practice by allowing us to offer expanded services to our clients in our newly added satellite office in Longview, Washington.

Prior to law school, Christine spent several years working closely with executives at two major corporations developing office support functions and generally ensuring that organizations with several hundred employees ran smoothly. A relocation prompted her to begin taking classes at Western Washington University, where she excelled in an academically intense program focused on law and diversity. Her success in this program earned her a scholarship and acceptance at the University of Idaho College of Law.

Since her admission to the Washington State Bar, Christine has worked extensively with Law Advocates – a legal aid organization aimed at assisting low-income individuals and families facing urgent legal problems. This position allowed Christine to solve a wide variety of complex legal issues – primarily in the area of family law. Before joining Heritage Family Law, Christine practiced at the Baumgarten Law Office located in Whitman County.

Bibigo, the flagship consumer food brand of CJ CheilJedang, is expanding distribution of its frozen gimbap (seaweed rice roll) across major U.S. supermarkets, capitalizing on surging demand for convenient Korean meals. A consortium led by Korean plant builder Doosan Enerbility has secured an 840 billion-won ($618 million) deal to build a gas-fired power plant in Vietnam by 2030, the company said Thursday. The consortium, formed by Doosan Enerbility and Vietnam's energy service company PetroVietnam Technical Service Corp. LEGO Group has unveiled its first Dragon Ball set, created with the participation of a Korean designer at the Danish toymaker. The 1,764-piece LEGO Icons Dragon Ball Shenron & Goku set, developed in partnership with Japanese animation studio Toei Animation, will go on sale Nov. 4, the company said. Hyundai Motor's Sept. sales drop 16% on fewer working days

Hyundai Motor, Korea's biggest carmaker, said Thursday its sales fell 16 percent in September from a year earlier, as there were fewer working days due to the Chuseok holiday. Hyundai sold 307,998 vehicles last month, down from 366,731 units in 2025, the company said in a press release. Domestic sales plunged 25.7 percent to 49,022 units from 66,001 a year earlier, while overseas sales declined 13.9 percent to 258,976 units from 300,730. "Fewer working days due to Chuseok and delayed demand for new models affected the monthly numbers," the carmaker said. Hyundai plans to launch the all-new Tucson sport utility vehicle (SUV) in the domestic market as it expands its SUV lineup. From January to September, cumulative sales backtracked 7 percent to 2,886,763 vehicles from 3,105,346 a year earlier.
