FundedCup Launches a Prop Firm Model for Sports, Funding Analysts Who Pass a Two-Phase Challenge

Nov 5, 2026

The web platform evaluates sports picks on simulated capital and gives users who pass a funded account with a 90% profit split.

United Kingdom, November 5, 2026 -- FundedCup has launched a sports prop firm that applies the evaluation model long used in financial prop trading to sports analysis. Users buy a challenge, make picks on a simulated account and must meet fixed rules. Those who pass get a funded account and keep 90% of the profits.

The idea behind prop trading sports comes from finance, where firms have long required traders to prove a consistent edge under strict risk limits before handing them capital. FundedCup describes itself as a skill-evaluation platform, not a sportsbook. All activity takes place in a simulated environment, and no real-money wagers are placed.

"We built FundedCup around one idea: skill should be measurable," said Liam Stass, founder of FundedCup. "Pass the challenge, show discipline, get funded, and keep 90% of the profits."

The sports trading challenge comes in six sizes. The entry-level cost is $49 for a $1,000 simulated account, and the highest cost is $1,499 for a $100,000 account, with tiers at $5,000, $10,000, $25,000, and $50,000 in between. According to the company, funded accounts can scale up to $200,000 over time.

Each challenge has two phases. In the first, the user must reach a profit target while staying within a daily loss limit and a maximum loss limit. The second phase applies the same risk rules and is designed to confirm that the result can be repeated. Users must also meet a minimum number of picks and active days, with a cap on position size. There is no time limit to complete either phase.

Breaking a rule ends the evaluation, and the fee is not refunded. Users who fail can start a new challenge.

Once funded, users keep trading on a funded bankroll under the same discipline. Payouts are available on a weekly cycle, with a $50 minimum, by bank transfer or cryptocurrency. If a funded account reaches its drawdown limit, it is suspended, and the company says users never owe personal capital.

Coverage spans football leagues including the Premier League, La Liga and the Champions League, along with the NBA and EuroLeague, the NFL, UFC and MMA, ATP and WTA tennis, rugby and cricket. Prices come from more than 200 sources, and the platform runs through a web dashboard.

The model offers a different take on sports betting funding. Rather than staking their own bankroll, users pay a fixed challenge fee and are measured on results, risk control and consistency over a minimum sample of picks. For fans who already study form and matchups, it turns that habit into a rules-based test.

The company's own site states that most users do not pass the evaluation, and that any earnings figures shown are hypothetical. Funded sports trading through FundedCup carries no guaranteed earnings.

FundedCup is open only to users aged 18 and over. The company uses geo-blocking and identity verification, does not operate in jurisdictions where such services are prohibited or restricted, and asks users to confirm that the service is permitted where they live.

FundedCup is operated by FundedCup Ltd., based in Saint Lucia. More information is available on the official website.
